Museums & Visitor Center

Towards the very end of the 20th century, and thanks to the initiative of artists, cultural driving forces and patrons like Santiago Rusiñol, Ramón Casas, Miquel Utrillo or Charles Deering, Sitges became the benchmark town and a promotional center for Catalan Modernism. In the late 19th and 20th century, the town welcomed painters, sculptors, musicians and intellectuals who left a mark that Sitgetans have continually maintained until now.

Today Sitges is known far and wide for its heritage and for being a cosmopolitan town that continues to entice people of culture and the arts from all over the world.
