Thanks to its location between the sea and the mountains and its mild, temperate climate, in Sitges it’s possible to do many different outdoor sports. We have: 26 beaches, 1 nature reserve, 3 marinas and 1 private golf course right on the seafront, the second oldest in Catalonia.
A sample of the activities you can enjoy are; sailing, windsurf, kayaking, kite- surf, surf, scuba diving, 4x4, equestrian sports, climbing, quads, golf, trekking in the Garraf Nature Reserve, relaxation, yoga at the Buddhist monastery and horseback riding.
Sitges has three Vies Braves swimming lanes with over 3.5 kilometers of practicable sea routes.
Sitges offers three different signposted sea routes, each 1.2 kilometers long and allowing us to get to know the main points of its seacoast through open water swimming or snorkeling.
Route one: Cap de Grills - Home Mort
Begins at Santa Margarida Beach and continues down Les Coves Beach, Les Coves Point, Rosés Beach and ends at Home Mort Beach.
Route two: Aiguadolç-Costes del Garraf
Begins at the beach of the same name, passes through La Caleta, Grossa Point and ends at Cala Forn Cove.
Route three: Garraf - Port Ginesta
Passes through Garraf Beach, Del Corrals Point, El Pas Trencat and La Ginesta Cove.
The time needed to be able to swim each of these routes is between 18 and 30 minutes and the degree of difficulty is rated as medium.
