Although Sitges has no public Wi-Fi network around its streets, you can connect for free from the tourist information office at the train station, number 2 Eduard Maristany Square. And most of the beach bars offer their customers free Wi-Fi.

6 How to get to Sitges & Barcelona from the airport using public transportation?

The Airport - Sitges - Airport route can be done by bus or railway. By railway, you must switch trains at the El Prat station and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes (depending on the day of the week and train frequency). You can check train schedules here www.renfe.com. By bus, the Mon - bus company offers regular daily service with stops at the Barcelona airport. For more information www.monbus.cat

For the Sitges - Barcelona - Sitges route, the easiest option is by train to and from the Paseo de Gracia station, in the very center of Barcelona. There’s a train approximately every 15 minutes and the journey takes about 35 minutes. For more information. 7 Is it permitted to take pets to the beach?

According to the Sitges Town Hall’s plan of usage and civility ordinance, it is forbidden for dogs and other pets to access beaches, including all public bathing areas and places, the sand and the water, with the only exception of guide dogs.

8 Is it possible to take boat trips around the coast?

Presently, there are no companies that offer this service regularly, but you can rent boats, sailboats, jet skis, do paddle surf, scuba diving, kayaking, etc. in small groups . You can consult the Websites of Sitges’ three marinas for more information



9 How do I get to the Garraf Nature Reserve and what routes can I go on there?

You can drive your own vehicle all the way to the Palau Novella Buddhist Monastery , but most people walk up from Sitges. If you decide to walk, you can take line 1 of the local bus to Pruelles and access it from there on foot.

10 Is it possible to visit the Parish Church?

The parish church, or The Point, as we locals call it, can only be visited when mass is being held, weekdays, Saturdays and holiday eves at 1930, Sundays and holidays at 900 and 1100 (mass in Spanish), and 1200 and 1930.

The Vinyet sanctuary, with its traditional votive offerings, can be visited Monday to Sunday from 1100 to 13.00 and 1630 to 1930, closed on Tuesdays that aren’t holidays.
