Sitges is located on the Mediterranean coast, just 35 km south of Barcelona. It has a surface area of 43.7 km2 and stands at an altitude of 10 meters. The town is situated at the southern edge of the Garraf Massif, a calcareous rock mountain range with a surface area of 312 km2 that, for many years, has been a natural barrier between Barcelona and Sitges.
