"Let's clean up" Sitges beaches
"As part of the European campaign Let's Clean Up Europe, a waste collection event will take place at the beaches of La Barra, Terramar, Les Anquines, El Cellerot, and Els Grills in Sitges. The goal is to raise awareness about the amount of waste that is irresponsibly discarded into nature.
Throughout the day, all litter found on the beaches will be collected, sorted by waste type, and weighed. The results of the cleanup will be shared with the Waste Agency of Catalonia.
This activity is organized by the CEM in collaboration with the environmental organization Custòdia de Platges del Garraf.
A family-friendly activity suitable for all audiences.
