The 9th edition of the Festival Terramar CaixaBank of Sitges is kicking off on 31 July with Sílvia Pérez Cruz in an opening concert that is particularly symbolic because it dovetails with the thirtieth anniversary of her artistic career and the launch of her new record. The first weekend will also feature two other exciting events: Sergio Dalma will present ‘Ritorno a Via Dalma’ live on 1 August as part of a tour of large venues to revisit his Italian hits, and on 2 August Joan Dausà will perform in Sitges with ‘Immortals’, his fifth album which was just released a few days ago.

After the event featuring Quim Masferrer on 4 August, the festival will resume its musical programming on 5 August with the Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay, a project led by the legendary guitarist and groove director of the band in its only concert in Catalonia this summer. The violinist Ara Malikian will be featured on 6 August, bringing his new ‘Intruso’ show to Sitges, which combines classical virtuosity and influences from world music. The next day, 7 August, Rosana will be here with her ‘Vamos a Star Tour’ as part of her return on-stage, dovetailing with the thirtieth anniversary of ‘Lunas Rotas’.

The festival will continue on 8 August with a double concert featuring Els Amics de les Arts, who are celebrating their twentieth anniversary with a tour focused on their greatest hits, and Ginestà, one of the most prominent bands on the new Catalan music scene. This Is Michael, an international show paying tribute to Michael Jackson will be on 9 August, connecting with the world première of the biopic of the king of pop. On 10 August, Rosario Flores will visit Terramar with ‘Universo de ley’, a tour that looks back on her more than three-decade career. On 11 August, Sopa de Cabra will feature in one of the most emblematic nights, dovetailing with the celebration of their 40 years of history, and the closing night on 12 August will feature God Save The Queen, a show designed to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of Queen's last big concert with Freddie Mercury at Knebworth Park.

Yet another year, the Festival Terramar CaixaBank is offering a line-up that combines great Spanish and international names, long-standing artists, special projects and productions designed to offer a quality cultural experience in one of the most unique settings on the summer calendar.

A new edition of the Imprescindibles series

Yet another, summer, the Imprescindibles 2026 is promoting local talent a with a series of small-format music and dance performances. Organised by the Councillor’s Office for Culture at Sitges Town Council and with the collaboration of the Festival Terramar CaixaBank and the coordination of Ràdio Sitges, the series presents twelve acts at the Village Stage of the Festival Terramar CaixaBank from 31 July to 12 August.

The doors at the Village Stage open at 8 pm, when the Ràdio Sitges DJ sessions begin. Musical performances start at 8.45 pm and dance shows at 9.30 pm. Later, at 10 pm, there will be large-format concerts at the Auditori, the event's main stage.

Music and dance performances get under way on 31 July with Intra-accions, a piece choreographed by Roger Bernad Paretas and Martina De Michelis Pallisea.

• Regarding the concerts in the Imprescindibles Series, anyone with a ticket for a concert at the Auditori may also access the Village.
• People who only want to attend the performances in the Imprescindibles 2026 series will soon be able to purchase tickets on the Cultura Sitges website or on the day of the performances at the festival box office from 7.30 pm at a general price of €5.

Cal Blay foodlovers, food and experience at the Village

The Festival Terramar CaixaBank is enhancing its experiential dimension with its gastronomic partner Cal Blay. Yet another year, it will supply food designed to complete the audience’s experience in the Jardins de Terramar, with the Village Experience option, which includes a buffet dinner in a space in the Village with a previous reservation, and its foodlovers option, to enjoy a gourmet street food menu as soon as the doors open, making each evening an experience that combines music, the setting and great food.

Commitment to local organisations

Parallel to its artistic events, the festival is also keeping up its charitable side. The organisers have renewed the agreement to earmark 50 cents of every ticket sold to charitable purposes with the Fundació Ave Maria, which focuses on caring for, mentoring and supporting adults with intellectual disabilities via residential and care services and community support. It will also allocate money to the social project Nits de la Lluna Plena, which promotes initiatives to raise funds for research for the fight against childhood cancer to benefit Barcelona’s Hospital Sant Joan de Déu.
